6th Annual PAAF Charity Golf Tournament:
On
September 7th, 2007, the San Jose Police Amateur Athletic Foundation and the
East Valley Family YMCA will be hosting the 6th Annual PAAF Charity Golf
Tournament at Los Lagos Golf Course in San Jose. Proceeds from this event will
benefit the PAAF/YMCA Toy Drive, which provides gifts for over 700 children in
the Greater Eastside of San Jose. Please consider being a participant or sponsor

17th Annual SJPD Memorial Charity Classic:
On
September 10th, 2006, PAAF hosted the 17th Annual SJPD Memorial Charity Classic
at the Logitech Ice Centre in San Jose, CA. This annual event pitted the San
Jose Police Department Hockey Team against the San Jose Fire Department Hockey
Team for the Caldarulo Cup Hockey Trophy. The SJPD Team dominated the SJFD by a
score of 8-1 and returned the Caldarulo Cup to the San Jose Police Department
for at least this year. Through the generous donations of players and fans, PAAF
was able to raise $1,000 for the San Jose Police Chaplaincy Program.
Special thanks to the Logitech Ice Centre, former San Jose Sharks players Jaime
Baker and Tom Pederson, and to Sgt. Todd Cleaver of the San Jose Police
Department for organizing this event.

1st Annual Tour de Vendage:
On
October 14th, 2006 , PAAF hosted the First Annual “Tour de Vendage- Ride for the
Children” in Livermore,CA. Over 70 riders enjoyed a beautiful day of cycling
through the vineyards of the Livermore Valley Wine Country. Through the generous
donations of our riders, PAAF was able to donate $2,200 to the Hydrocephalus
Association to help battle this childhood disease affecting 2 out of every 1000
children born in the United States.
We received some excellent feedback from the riders and staff and look forward
